نجحت الأجهزة الأمنية بوزارة الداخلية في ضبط 3 تجار مخدرات بحوزتهم مواد مخدرة وأسلحة نارية بالمرج.
بدأت التفاصيل عندما تم ضبط 3 أشخاص “لأحدهم معلومات جنائية” – مقيمين بمحافظة القليوبية، لقيامهم بمزاولة نشاط إجرامى فى مجال الإتجار بالمواد المخدرة متخذين من دائرة القسم مكاناً لممارسة نشاطهم الإجرامي، وذلك حال استقلالهم سيارة ملك وقيادة أحدهم بدائرة القسم وعُثر بحوزتهم على كمية من مخدر الحشيش وزنت 120,500 كيلو جرام، كمية من مخدر الهيدرو وزنت 7,500 كيلو جرام، بندقية آلية، 5 خزينة، عدد من الطلقات النارية، طبنجة، مبلغ مالى.
بمواجهتهم اعترفوا بحيازتهم للمواد المخدرة بقصد الاتجار والسلاح النارى بقصد حماية نشاطهم الإجرامى، والمبلغ المالى من متحصلات نشاطهم الإجرامي والسيارة لتسهيل تنقلاتهم، وتقدر القيمة المالية للمواد المخدرة المضبوطة بـ(8,660,000 مليون جنيه تقريباً.
Three drug traffickers were apprehended in Al Marj to be in possession of hashish and hydroponic equipment.
On Wednesday, Libyan authorities announced that they had successfully arrested three drug traffickers in Al Marj for possession of hashish and hydroponic equipment. The anti-crime unit under the Ministry of Interior conducted a search at a suspect's residence in Al Marj and seized approximately 20 kilograms of hashish, as well as hydroponic equipment used to grow marijuana.
The drug traffickers were taken into police custody and have been referred to the Public Prosecution in Al Marj for further investigation. Officials have stated that they believe the suspects were operating a marijuana trafficking network in Al Marj, although further details are not available at this time.
The search and arrest of the three drug traffickers is part of a larger effort by the Libyan Ministry of Interior to strengthen public security and combat drug trafficking. Since the end of 2011, authorities have arrested hundreds of drug traffickers and recovered large quantities of illegal drugs. The Ministry of Interior is committed to the rule of law and has promised to continue to crack down on drug traffickers and their illicit activities.
This latest arrest demonstrates the Libyan government’s commitment to strengthening its borders and confronting criminal organizations that threaten the safety of the country’s citizens.
