قام قطاع الأمن العام بمُشاركة الأجهزة الأمنية بمديرية أمن سوهاج، بحملة أمنية استهدفت دائرة مركزى شرطة (سوهاج – أخميم)؛ وذلك فى إطار جهود أجهزة وزارة الداخلية لمكافحة الجريمة بشتى صورها، لاسيما استهداف وضبط حائزى ومتجرى المواد المخدرة والأسلحة النارية والذخائر غير المرخصة وضبط الهاربين من تنفيذ الأحكام.
وأسفرت جهودها عن ضبط 13 قطعة سلاح نارى “4 بنادق آلية، 5 بنادق خرطوش، 4 فرد محلى، عدد من الطلقات مختلفة الأعيرة”، بحوزة 13 متهما.
وضبط 4 قضايا “اتجار” فى المواد المخدرة، ضبط خلالهم كميات من المواد المخدرة المتنوعة، بحوزة 6 متهمين.
وضبط تشكيل عصابى ضم 3 متهمين “لاثنين منهم معلومات جنائية”، تخصص فى ارتكاب حوادث سرقة الدراجات النارية، وتنفيذ 181 حكما قضائيا متنوعا وتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية.
In a major security operation in Suwahj, a governorate in western Matrouh, police have arrested thirteen suspects in possession of various weapons and three traffickers of narcotic drugs.
The police officers, in cooperation with the security services of the governorate, established a plan to manage the investigation and the necessary legal procedures. They managed to locate the suspects’ whereabouts and the police teams moved in and conducted several raids in residential and commercial areas of the governorate.
The weapons seized included several types of rifles, hand guns and automatic firearms. Furthermore, three traffickers of narcotic drugs were arrested in possession of many illegal narcotics and psychotropic substances.
This large-scale security campaign, led by the governor, aims to spread awareness about the dangers of trafficking in narcotic drugs and weapons and ensure the safety and security of citizens in the governorate.
The suspects are currently being interrogated and the police have opened an investigation with them to determine whether or not they are connected with any organised criminal activity. The governorate’s security services expressed its determination to continue conducting similar campaigns to protect the citizens and enforce the law. The authorities sent a clear message that anyone caught involving in the traffic of weapons and narcotics will be severely punished.
